Funeral  services  for  Mr.  William  Albert  Grisham,  89,    of
Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 11  A.M.  on  Wednesday,  June
22,  2016,  at  Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home   in
Gainesboro, TN. Burial  will  follow  in  the Dickens Cemetery  in
Smith County, TN.

  The family will receive friends  on  Tuesday  from  3  P.M. - 8
P.M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services.

  He passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016,  at  the  Alvin C.
York Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN.

  He was born September 6, 1926,  a  son  of  the  late  Henry
Clay Grisham and Virginia Vaden Grisham.        He  grew  up  in
Maggart, TN, with  5  brothers  and  7  sisters.  He was himself a
twin to the late Alberta Grisham Norton. Mr. Grisham is survived
by his brothers: H.C. (Juanita) Grisham   of   Nashville, TN, M.A.
"Mac" (Cherie) Grisham   of   Franklin,     TN;   and   his   sister:
Maybelle Grisham Hicks of Monticello, KY. He served in the U.S.
Army at the end of WWII in the Philippines.

  Mr. Grisham enjoyed over 68 years of marriage    to   Evelyn
Wilson, whom he  married  on  March  20, 1948.    He   lived   in
Nashville and worked  for Watson-Wilson and McLean  trucking,
and retired to his farm in Gainesboro, TN, in 1983.

  Mr.  Grisham  is  survived  by  his  wife:  Evelyn  Grisham   of
Gainesboro, TN;   his   daughter:      Janice and son-in-law Paul
Smith of Mt. Juliet, TN;    his    daughter:    Brenda Durham     of
Hermitage,   TN;  his  son: William "Bill" Grisham of Gainesboro,
TN; grandchildren: Michael Hodge of Old Hickory, TN,   Danielle
Smith  (Mike)  Wallin   of   Mt.  Juliet,  TN,   Paul C. Smith, Jr.   of
Hermitage,  TN,   Bill  Grisham    and    Andrew    Grisham       of
Gainesboro, TN;    9   great  grandchildren: Sebastian Grisham,
Joshua, Madilyn, Katie, Sarah, and Noah Wallin, Eli   and    Alex
Smith, and Landon Grisham.

  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations  may  be  made  to  the
Gideon ministry by contacting the funeral home.
